Capt. Chris has been plying the waters of New England and the Gulf of Maine for the better part of 30 years. Capt. Chris first served as a summer Deck Hand on the Motor Vessel Brant Point of Hy-Line Cruises, helping deliver passengers and freight to Nantucket Island from Hyannis Massachusetts. Capt. Chris then went on to fish for lobster and tuna as a Sternman on the Fishing Vessel Merlin for the legendary Capt. Chuck Butler out on Nantucket Shoals. After fishing on the Merlin, Capt. Chris then went on to captain his own lobster skiff, the Fishing Vessel Shaman, lobstering south of Nantucket Island. After some time ashore, Capt. Chris once again took to the waters restoring and fishing a Duratech skiff out of Portland Harbor before finally setting about the restoration of the Fishing Vessel Lucy B, a Phoenix 29 Sportfish, built for safety, comfort and fishing excellence. In the offseason, Capt. Chris works for Casco Bay Lines, the lifeline to the islands of Casco Bay.
