The FV Lucy B has a minimum 2 hour booking requirement, which is ideal for Sightseeing, Cruises, Mackerel and Lobster Fishing trips. Four-hour trips are suitable for longer Cruises and Striper Fishing. Six-hour trips are ideal for Striper Fishing and inshore Ground Fishing trips. Eight-hour trips are best for offshore Ground Fishing and Shark Fishing. Tuna trips are for experienced anglers only and are subject to special pricing as well other considerations.

Snacks and beverages are encouraged. Sunscreen, sunglasses and hats with visors will help ensure your comfort. The weather and temperature can change quickly on the water so sweatshirts and water-resistant light jackets or raingear is always a good idea. Alcohol is permitted when consumed responsibly. Seasickness can happen to the saltiest of us, so taking an over-the-counter seasickness medication prior to the beginning of your trip is cheap insurance to ensure a good time.

The Captain closely monitors weather conditions and will cancel trips with refund when weather conditions pose any risk. That being stated, rainy and cloudy days are often the most productive fishing days and are not a cause for cancellation; the FV Lucy B has a partially covered deck and a spacious, dry, comfortable cabin to enjoy when not on deck fishing. Harbor tours are more weather dependent and may be rescheduled at the Captain’s discretion.

The Lucy B meets guest passengers primarily at its slip located at Sunset Marina in South Portland at 231 Front Street. There is free on-street parking available at the marina. The secondary meeting location is the Portland Public Dock at Bell Buoy Park in the Old Port of Portland, Maine, located at 54 Commercial Street between Flatbread Company and the Casco Bay Lines Ferry Terminal.
